CriticalMath supports two important facets of the academic community: journals and conferences. Journals use CriticalMath to accept article submissions online, communicate with their audience and contributors via an online profile, as well as facilitate the peer review and decision-making processes typical of most scholarly journals. Conferences use CriticalMath to manage participant registrations, proposals, and to maintain a permanent record and storage space for their event.
CriticalMath is a donations based service for academic journals and conferences. Our mission is to provide tools for journal editors to accept submissions online, distribute them for peer review and interact with their audience. We believe this increases the readership of academic publications by improving the overall quality of a publication.
Thanks to the support of our user community we are currently implementing a new version of the CriticalMath journal management system, as well as implementing a new version of our conference management tool. We hope to have our new system online this spring, and then you’ll be able to register your journal or conference with CriticalMath. As of now, however, we’re strictly limiting accounts, but if you have an immediate need, please contact brain@criticalmath.com.
